Ajax CombiProtect

The Ajax CombiProtect combines the functions of two detectors — motion detector and glass break detector. It detects motion in the room at a distance of up to 12 m and registers breaking glass at a distance of up to 9 m from the window.  The motion detector ignores pets and helps to secure the room from intruders entering through doors and windows, and monitors the current state of the glass.

• Works up to 1,200 metres from Ajax Hub in open space or across several floors of a business centre
• Detects motion up to 12 metres away
• Detects breaking glass up to 9 metres away and 180 degrees from front of device
• Processes signals digitally
• Adjustable to three different sensitivity levels
• Uses Ajax SmartMotion algorithm to avoid false alarms from animals weighing less than 20kg
• Eliminates false alarms from gear and electromagnetic interference using a FresnelTech optical component, made from POLY IR4 material and an Excelitas PIR sensor
• Works under most conditions due to digital temperature compensation
• Uses two-factor detection of broken glass at low and high frequencies to prevent false alarms
• Two-way communication with Ajax Hub allows for periodic testing and customisation
