Ajax DoorProtect

Ajax DoorProtect is a wireless opening detector that notifies intrusion by door or window. It can be mounted on all types of doors including those with a metal base in a house, apartment, office or commercial building.

The device consists of a detector and magnet and includes two magnets: the larger magnet can operate at a distance of up to 2 cm, and the small magnet up to 1 cm from the detector.

The British-made hi-end reed switch can also operate in transmitter mode, sending a signal from an external wired sensor to the hub.

• Works up to 1,200 metres from Ajax Hub in open space or across several floors of a business centre
• Allows connection to a third-party hard wired opening detector
• Uses British-made reed switches that can be toggled more than 2,000,000 times without failure
• Two-way communication with Ajax Hub allows for periodic testing and customisation
• Saves energy by regulating power consumption based on the distance from Ajax Hub
