Surface Mount Door Reed with Armoured Lead

A high-durability magnetic contact switch used for monitoring entry points in security systems. Designed for surface mounting, it has a reed switch encased within the housing, which completes or breaks the circuit when a magnet attached to the door aligns with it. The armoured lead is a protective metal sheath around the wire, adding resistance to tampering and physical damage, which is ideal for high-traffic or vulnerable locations.  Secure the reed switch to the door frame and the magnet to the door. When the door opens, the magnet separates from the reed, signaling the control panel to register a breach.
